Kushitani is proud to
support the L. A. Sheriffs department.
We have been asked to put our expertise to the test by
creating their new riding uniform, not only does it have
to match their current uniforms in color and style, but
it also has to be functional. This prototype is made from
50% nylon and 50% cotton, for better breakability and
better protection against abrasion compared to wool (the
current uniform). Both jacket and pants will includes
C.E. approved armour from U.K.. The
jacket has multiple vent zippers to keep the rider cooler
in the hot summers, velcro straps to secure the armour
in place while riding. Soon boots will be submit to
go with the rest of the uniform. Stay tune for more

but still gives full protection. We also added buttons
to the collar prevent flapping.
LASD purchased our leathers to test the lastest Police BMW and Honda at the Pamona training center. It's was great seeing LA finest pushing the limits on these amazing machines. The road course was bumby, twisty and tight with plenty of run off space, which was used quite often during the intense braking test.
98 degree heat,the add perforation in our suits save them from being too hot.
